A 33-year-old lady was discovered dead inside her home in Lakeview Estate, Nakuru, this morning, with her private parts leaking.
Martha Waithera Kibiru is believed to have been slain by her three-year-long come-and-stay husband, Moses Leparani, last night.
Waithera’s neighbors claim they were awakened by cries from her 10-year-old son, who was wailing that his mother had been murdered by his father, who had escaped.
“My nephew was crying this morning, and when I rushed to Waithera’s house to find out what was wrong, I discovered the door was locked from the outside. “When I came in, I found the child at the bedroom door, and he informed me that his father had killed his mother,” one of the residents, Margaret Nyambura Ng’ang’a, related.
“I didn’t have the guts to go into the bedroom to see what was going on, but when I contacted my other neighbor, she discovered my cousin’s body on the bed, and we immediately alerted the area chief and called the cops,” she continued.
Waithera’s body was discovered with severe physical bruises and blood on her private parts, according to Nakuru East Deputy County Commissioner Erick Wanyonyi.
