On August 2, candidates who took the 2020 KCPE examinations will report to secondary schools.
On Tuesday, Education CS George Magoha announced the news when presenting the Form One selection exercise.
National schools will accept 36,254 pupils in the placement, including 17,406 females and 18,848 boys.
36,254 applicants will be assigned to national schools, 1,827 to special needs schools, and 201,077 to Extra County schools in this year’s placement exercise.
In addition, 718,516 students will enroll in county schools and 213,591 in sub-county schools.
With the exception of convicts, overage applicants, and students in refugee camps, this will be the third batch of students to be admitted under the 100% policy.
